Working in Kenya’s largest psychiatric hospital, Samuel numerously encountered the heartbreaking reality of hundreds of individuals and organizations in desperate need of mental health support yet hesitant to seek the same from the hospital due to the stigma associated with mental hospital-based services. This recurring experience sparked a vision. What if we could create a solution that broke down these barriers? What if mental health services could be accessible, discreet, and stigma-free? Samuel knew it wasn’t just about connecting individuals to care; it was about creating a robust ecosystem where mental health professionals could thrive and deliver quality services while leveraging innovative tools. And so, Washauri Hub was born. As the Overall Team Lead at Washauri Hub, Samuel brings a strong foundation in mental health management to drive the organization’s mission of enhancing mental wellness across Kenya and Beyond.
He oversees the strategic direction of Washauri Hub, fostering partnerships with therapists, psychiatrists, and corporate entities. He is committed to ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, including psychotherapy, psychiatric referrals, and corporate mental wellness programs. Samuel is dedicated to innovation and quality assurance that aims to make WashauriHub a trusted name in mental wellness that will help individuals and communities thrive within Kenya and Beyond.

Her role at WashauriHub includes; fostering a growing network of mental health professionals, ensuring that clients are matched with the right experts for optimal care, managing partnerships with corporate organizations and facilitating partnerships with organizations providing mental health services to support aspiring therapist find placement for purposes of practical experience.

At WashauriHub, Jane plays a pivotal role in managing and scaling the organization’s core operations. She is responsible for; overseeing the execution of various mental wellness programs, various therapy sessions, corporate wellness programs, and student-focused initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes. She is also responsible of operational processes, ensuring that all services are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality, to meet organizational goals and client expectations. Jane is dedicated to the seamless integration of services, helping WashauriHub scale and enhance its reach while maintaining excellent standards.

A seasoned IT professional with a solid background in software development and practical teaching experience. Dancan brings technical expertise and a passion for leveraging innovative technology to solve real-world problems. At Washauri Hub, he plays a critical role in driving the technological vision of the organization and is responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and continuous improvement of Washauri Hub’s technology platforms, ensuring that all IT systems are robust, secure, and aligned with the entity’s operational needs.
